At some point the light went on about Norton GoBack causing me enormous headaches in the past (DONT ASK !!) and I disabled it. I have my computer set to run Windows Powershell ISE instead of Userinit on logon, and it works fine. It does just run what is needed to logg you on PROPERLY and then terminates itself.
